Lagos Traffic Radio has recognised seven members of Staff for their creativity and innovative ideas towards the actualisation of the modest achievement of the organisation in the year 2020, issuing them Letters of Commendation.


The General Manager of the Station, Mr. Tayo Akanle, who announced this at the November Staff Forum held over the weekend, presented the Letters of Commendation to the Officers, charging them to do more.

Akanle thanked the officers for supporting the Mission, Vision and Core Values of the Station by adding value through their unique contributions which enhanced smooth commuting of listeners in the State. He emphasised the need for other members of staff to support the Agency towards achieving its goals in accordance with the T.H.E.M.E.S Agenda of Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu led administration.

The General Manager said, “I acknowledge with delight and commend your immense contribution. Your dedication and unusual passion has contributed greatly to the actualisation of the modest achievement of this Agency in Year 2020 in spite of the challenges posed by the global pandemic”.


“This great achievement has been noted and highly commended. Consequently, I hereby express my profound gratitude for this grand feat, please keep it up”, he added.

The recognised members of staff are Head, Budget and Planning, Mrs. Taiwo Awonuga; Assistant Director, News and Current Affairs, Mrs. Adéola Akindele; Assistant Director Programmes, Mr. Victor Oteri; Head Marketing, Mr. Dare Durosimi; Miss. Adebowale Yusuf and Mr. Micah Aruocha of the Programmes Department; and Mrs. Olubunmi Leigh of the Marketing Department.
